Every mentor is a current or former research-active faculty member with peer-reviewed publications in business, economics, psychology, sociology, or adjacent fields.
Profiles below illustrate the type of mentor JBE students work with. Final mentor matching happens in the consultation, based on the student's specific research interest.
Names and details above are anonymized samples — full mentor profiles shared during consultation. We respect mentor privacy until matched with a confirmed student.
Every mentor has at least three peer-reviewed publications in their field within the last five years. We don't accept graduate students or career-coaches as mentors.
All mentors have direct teaching experience at the undergraduate level or above. Mentoring a high school student is different from doing research alone — it requires patience and pedagogy.
Mentors only work with students whose research interests overlap with their own published expertise. If we can't match you, we tell you in the consultation.
